Child Care: Our Mission

Imagination Destination (“I.D.”) Child Care Center is a place dedicated to the growth and development of children as individuals. We perpetually strive to provide a framework of education that is a secure, innovative, and fun for the children and the staff. I.D. is dedicated to promoting healthy development in young children by fostering creativity through positive reinforcement. Above all else, you can trust in I.D. to be a safe, instructive, and nourishing environment for your child.

Skills for Lasting Success

What is SEL? Social-Emotional Learning, at Imagination Destination we have adopted the Second Step® Early Learning. When students enter kindergarten with the self-regulation and social-emotional skills taught with evidence-based Second Step® Early Learning, they’re set up for success. Second Step Early Learning is designed to keep children engaged.

Decades of research show the positive effects of universal, classroom-based SEL programs for children. There’s also broad recognition that benefits are even greater when children experience SEL throughout their day, across home, school, and out-of-school time environments, and throughout developmental stages. When implemented holistically, with a coordinated, community-wide approach, SEL can build stronger communities and support inclusive, equitable learning.

  • Yes! We offer both full-time (5 days per week) and part-time options. Part-time care includes 4-day, 3-day, or 2-day schedules—designed to provide flexibility for your family’s needs.
